First….This is an AWESOME book. No disbelief about it. It is HUGE. It weights fourteen 1/2 pounds!!! It is unequivocally beautiful. The photos have been usually what you’d design from Mr. Ralph. Sweeping, grand as good as elegant. There have been over 700 photos..Large as good as small. Not a lot of content though sufficient to keep we good wrapped up.
BUT….Well…Really 2 buts….I am a HUGE air blower of Lauren’s horse opera selected desirous line of wardrobe called “RRL” or “Double RL”. Have been given 1993. Was a small let down which there have been usually about 8 pics associated to this line which Ralph admits many most times is his loyal passion as good as adore in his immeasurable sovereignty of styles as good as brands.
On a upside…There have been LOTS of photos from a initial horse opera pick up in 1979 which was unequivocally a groundbreaking for all his RRL as good as Western/Roughwear/Santa Fe collections since. Many not seen in a small twenty-five years. AA++ upon that.
SECOND BUT….There have been small to NO STORE photos. Inside or out of a shops. In my common opinion…This is about 75% of Lauren’s pristine gift. HIS STORES!! There have been distinct any alternative stores in a world!! Th perfect range which any store has..It’s own character depending upon it’s location, a accents, a character direction, etc. You can outlay hours usually wondering by his stores in awe. Upside again….There have been many most photos NEVER published before. Most from early ad spreads. Lauren’s early ads were mostly fifteen to twenty repository pages long…Like mini movies. Remember them all utterly good from my early adulthood. Very good to see new/old images. AAA+++
OVERALL…Excellent book. We all know Lauren could have (without any bid due to a resources of element to pull from) separate this book up in to 3 or 4 or even 5 volumes.
